Ooki uses cookies and local storage to:
- Keep you authenticated and maintain your session securely
- Remember your theme preference (dark/light mode)
- Remember your player volume and queue settings
- Store your recently played tracks for the dashboard
- Understand how users navigate and use the platform
- Detect and prevent security issues and fraud
- Improve platform performance and reliability
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or selling data to third parties.

5 Third-Party Services
The following third-party services may set cookies or use similar technologies when you use Ooki:
- Supabase — authentication and database. Sets auth tokens in localStorage. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
- Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and analytics. Sets security cookies and analytics beacons. Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Stripe — payment processing (on checkout pages only). Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
- FontAwesome — icon library loaded via CDN. No tracking cookies are set by this service.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any advertising network cookies.
6 Local Storage & Session Storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage APIs to store data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, this data is not automatically sent to our servers with every request — it stays on your device and is only accessed by our JavaScript when needed.
Key localStorage items we store:

You can clear all localStorage data at any time through your browser settings (usually under Developer Tools → Application → Storage).
7 Managing Your Preferences
You have several options for controlling cookies:
- Browser settings — all modern browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent Ooki from functioning correctly.
- Clear localStorage — open your browser's Developer Tools (F12), navigate to Application → Local Storage, and delete Ooki-specific keys.
- Opt out of analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. You can also use browser extensions like uBlock Origin to block analytics beacons.
