Click Start Listening Free on the homepage. You can sign up with email or Google SSO — no credit card required for the free tier.

Choose "Listener" as your role
On the sign-up screen, select the Listener card. This gives you access to the listener dashboard, discovery engine, and playlist builder.

Set your taste profile
Pick 3–5 genres and at least 2 artists you love. Ooki's algorithm uses this immediately to personalise your home feed and Daily Mixes.

Confirm your email
Check your inbox for a verification link. Once confirmed, your account is fully active and you can access all free-tier features instantly.
Pro tip: Connecting via Google SSO is faster and more secure — you won't need to manage a separate password for Ooki.

Controls & Playback Features
The Ooki player lives at the bottom of every page. It never disappears — your queue, controls, and progress bar are always one glance away.
Play / Pause
Click the center play button or press Space anywhere on the page.
Skip & Previous
Use the skip arrows in the player bar, or press Alt+→ to skip and Alt+← to go back.
Shuffle & Repeat
Click to shuffle your queue, or cycle through No Repeat → Repeat All → Repeat One with the repeat button.
Volume & Mute
Drag the volume slider or click the speaker icon to mute/unmute instantly.
Queue management: Click any track's play icon to add it to the top of your queue. The current track keeps playing until it finishes, then jumps to your new pick.

Build Your Personal Library
Everything you like, save, or buy lives in your Listener Dashboard. Organise tracks into playlists and download for offline listening (Pro only).

Like a track
Tap the heart icon on any track card or in the player bar. Liked tracks appear in your Liked Songs playlist automatically.

Create a playlist
Go to your Listener Dashboard → Library → New Playlist. Name it, add a cover, and drag tracks in. Playlists can be public or private.

Buy & own music
Purchase albums or singles in the Store. Once bought, tracks are yours permanently — download them anytime from your Library.

Offline listening (Pro)
Pro subscribers can cache any playlist for offline playback. Tap Download Playlist and listen without an internet connection.
Ooki automatically syncs your library across all your devices. Sign in on any browser and your playlists, liked tracks, and history are right there.

Navigate to Sonic Capsules from the main menu. Filter by genre, mood, or artist. New capsules drop every Friday.

Every capsule has a hidden layer — lyrics, artwork, production notes, or a secret message from the artist. Tap the card to reveal it.

Collect Limited Editions
Some capsules are limited to 500 listeners. Once you unlock a limited capsule, it's stamped to your profile permanently as a collectible.
Full Album Capsules (marked with a red border) contain the full album experience — individual tracks, behind-the-scenes clips, and liner notes.

Go to Dashboard → Library → Purchased. You'll see all tracks and albums you've bought. Click the download icon next to any item. Pro subscribers can also download any streamed track for offline listening within the Ooki app.
Yes — your Ooki account works on unlimited devices simultaneously. Your library, playlists, and listening history sync in real-time across all sessions.
Free tier streams at 256 kbps AAC. Pro subscribers get optional lossless FLAC (up to 24-bit / 96kHz) with a toggle in their playback settings. Your internet connection needs to be at least 5 Mbps for lossless playback.
